Panoramix was present at ESTIV 2024 congress in Prague.  On the third day of the congress, Anne Marie Vinggaard and Beate Escher chaired a session titled “Complex Chemical Mixtures – How can NAMs contribute?”. The session focused on the critical role of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) in addressing the challenges posed by complex chemical mixtures.

The researchers presented their latest findings on using NAMs to predict adverse effects of chemical mixtures on male reproductive health. They emphasized the importance of understanding the cumulative impact of multiple chemicals, which is crucial for developing safer regulations. Additionally, they discussed the application of in vitro assays to quantify adverse effects of chemical mixtures extracted from human serum, showcasing the precision and reliability of these advanced methodologies.
